Sutherland Shire Relay For Life

This year the 24th relay is occurring.

Fitting, as the relay is 24 hours, from 9.00am Saturday - 10.00am Sunday, ending at Don Lucas Reserve.

Funds raised support the Cancer Council’s research, prevention and support services.

It’s a chance for the community to celebrate cancer survivorship, remember lost loved ones and unite our community and fight back against cancer. For more information, or to register or donate click here.

Caringbah Rotary is also supporting the finishers by feeding the hungry walkers some breakfast from 6.00am - 9.00am and need volunteers to help cook and feed them. Sign up here to volunteer.

Early Voting Opens

We don’t talk politics here, but there’s no denying there is a Federal Election coming next week and we do need to vote. If you want to get it done ahead of time, early voting is available all this week from Monday 28th April - Friday 02 May:

Local Business Spotlight

The Pickle Society

Pickleball has taken the world by storm and has now come to the Shire, with the first dedicated Pickleball venue opening in Caringbah recently.

The grand launch is happening Sunday 27th April, and scheduled programs start Monday 28th April.

Located at the Caringbah Tennis Courts (1 Fenton Avenue), there are several different membership types and programs you can “dill with” depending on how often you plan to “dink”.
