Well last weekend saw a couple of outdoor events called off due to the weather. Who here had the pleasure of visiting Westfield instead this past rainy weekend? Yep, it was amazing……

Anyways, the weather is looking better this week so let’s get outside and enjoy it!

Sydney Trains Trackwork Alert

Saturday April 5, buses replace trains between Waterfall and Sutherland from 4.00am - 11.30am. Trains run between Cronulla, Sutherland and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable.

FOGO coming soon to the Shire

What the heck? I know FOMO, but what is FOGO?

FOGO stands for Food Organics and Garden Organics. NSW has a statewide mandate for Food Organics and Garden Organics recycling, to reduce food waste and stop food waste going to landfill.

The NSW Parliament has passed legislation to mandate FOGO collection services for households and it is being rolled out in the Shire in 2026.

Sutherland Shire Council is seeking local feedback via community consultations in the coming months.

  • Description: The markets were supposed to happen on 28/29 March, but were postponed due to severe weather. They are rescheduled for 12 - 13 Apr.
